This is a new card fold for me. I saw it posted in a card making group with a picture but no link or directions.  After a long time searching, I finally gave up and decided to try to figure it out.  It's not exactly like the original but very close.  Once notable difference is that my card is an A4 and the card I copied is an A7.  So here we go.

Triangle Accordion Pocket Fold

First Card Base   4 ¼” x 11”; score at 5 ½” and fold in half; diagonally cut from top fold to bottom on the right side.

Second Card Base - which is the back of the card

4 ¼” x 7” score at 5 ½” and 6” and 6 ½”; fold in a mountain fold; attach the first and second card bases together using 1/8” or ¼” Score Tape.  At the top of the accordion fold, snip off the over-hanging piece.

Inside of the Card Starting at the Back

Cut DP at 4 1/8” x 5 3/8” and adhere in place onto the back panel, inside the card.  Lay aside for now.

Cut DP 2” x 4” and cut diagonally.  Glue one of halves onto the left side of the back panel.

Note:  Instead, you can cut a diagonal DP piece the size of the others and glue it the back panel.

Adhere a 3/8” x 4 1/8” strip of DP to both sides of the mountain fold which is in the middle of the card base.

For the triangle panels, cut DP at 4” x 5”; cut in half diagonally and glue in place.  If your DP has a direction to it, you will need to make an additional diagonal piece.

Flowers

Use two or three size flower punches of different shades of card stock and layer them together.  Apply Wink of Stell to the petals.

To the center of each flower adhere White Pearls or Multicolor Jewels.

One flower goes on the front of the card with several strands of white twine beneath it.

One flower goes on the inside right diagonal panel along with a sentiment or decorated as you like.

A large flower and a small flower are glued onto the white tag that goes in the pocket on the back panel.

Tag

Cut white cardstock at 1 ½” x 3 1/8”, round the top two corners.

Stamp sentiment on it.

Attach the two flowers to the tag.

Insert the tag into the pocket on the back panel.

Concertina Pocket Fancy Fold Card

 Annie’s Ink-Lings

A  friendly hello to you.  I've been away from my blog for quite a while.  Having really missed posting, I decided to give it a go again.  One thing to note is that BlogSpot no longer provides free email sign up.  So, in order to see my blog, you will have to go to the site yourself in order to see what's new.  Not happy with this, but I'll make do - and hope you will, too.

The instructions are rather lengthy because the card design requires a lot of cardstock and decorative paper.  If  you need a visual to help you put the pieces together, you can find many tutorials on YouTube by putting the name of the card in the search field.
Card Front

This card is called a Concertina Pocket Fancy Fold card.  It has lots of pieces so I suggest that as you cut your card stock, you place it in 5 stacks according to the 5 sections of directions.  This will be really help you to put the card together more easily.
