Sheltering Tree Card

Annie’s Ink-Lings

Today's card is just one of those fun and easy to make cards.  But I'm really sorry that the pictures don't do justice to the card.  I retook and tried all sorts of things to get better color but no luck.  So this time, focusing on the card style is the best thing.  The card stock is actually a light grey and the patterned paper is in shades of grey and is very pretty.  Just hard to tell in this photo.  I really like this sentiment stamp and the tree stamp.

Here is the open view of the card.  I added a narrow decorative paper panel which coordinates with the front of the card.  To embellish, I fussy cut two of the leaves
and glued them above the sentiment.

Measurements
Grey Card Base 5 ½” x 6”; with the 6” laying horizontal score at 4 ¼”Grey Front Panel 3 ¼” x 4 ¼”
White Front Panel 3” x 4”
Leaves Decorative Paper Panel 1 ½” x 5 1/4” (cut 2)

Inside
Striped Decorative Paper Panel 4” x 5 1/4”
White Panel 3” x 4”

Embellishment
Cut two leaves from Decorative Paper and glue overlapping inside or punch two leaves from green cardstock.

Stamps
Sutter Enterprises E-874: Tree
Wordsworth S086-P: Friendship is a Sheltering Tree
Dolphin Song: Just Really Glad You’re My Friend

Directions
1. Fold the card base on the score line. Adhere one of the leaves decorative paper to the folded over section of the card front.
2. Stamp the sentiment panel and adhere it to the grey panel. Center and attach it to the folded over section of the card front.
3. Stamp the sentiment on the other white panel, adhere it to the grey striped panel, and then onto the inside of the card. Attach the two leaves in place.
4. Attach the second leaves decorative paper panel to the left inside of the card.

Hope you have some great stamping fun today!

Blessings,
Annie
