Annie’s Ink-Lings
Hello Stampers,
I know you are going to love the card I have for you today, especially if you like pretty, adorable, and colorful. Well, anyway that is how it affects me, being a flower gardener. The past several days I have not been able to work outside in my flowers beds very often due to a huge forest fire not too far north of where I live. We are living under smoky skies. I am constantly praying that the firefighters will have the fire under control soon and for their safety. Since I am cooped up indoors, I've resorted to making card stock flowers. And having a really fun time! Take a look and enjoy - directions follow the pictures.

Cut panel then score at ½” and 2” and crease
on score lines. Make a Valley Fold and a Mountain Fold.
Media:
PrismaColor
Pencils
Black Ink
Pad
Directions:
1. Take the
patterned piece of card stock and put adhesive on the ½” segment next to the
valley fold and attach,
lining it up with the folded edge of the card base. This creates the cute little awning.
2. Take the
blue scalloped strip and adhere it on the backside of the awning, with just the
scallops showing.
3. Center and
adhere the birthday die cut to the awning.
For another look, you may glue the birthday sentiment
over the flower baskets.
4. Put foam
tape on the back of the ¾” green strip and adhere to the bottom of the front of
the card. This will
be your storefront.
5. Glue the
1/8” blue strip at the top of the green strip.
6. Stamp,
color, and fussy cut flowers. I cut off the basket hanging ropes. I used
Stampin’ Up “Hanging
Garden ” stamp set
#146239.
7. Use foam
tape to adhere the flower baskets as though they were sitting on top of the storefront
panel at
the bottom of the card.
8. Stamp
sentiment inside card. I used My
Sentiments Exactly #0298 “Wishing you days that flower with
happiness!”
I hope you will enjoy making this card or that it will inspire you to make your own version.
Blessings,
Annie
