Smile – It’s Your Birthday!

Annie’s Ink-Lings

Back again with another smile. This time on a birthday card. I have a friend who is a photography buff, and his birthday is fast approaching. Wanting to go with the photography theme, this is what I came up with for a special card for him.

First, I stamped the Smile sentiment centered at the top of the card.  Using the starburst stamp and Shabby Shutters Distress Ink, I randomly stamped on the front of the card to make the background.  The filmstrip die cut was adhered to a strip of Authentic designer card stock, then layered onto a strip of Sage card stock.  Next, I adhered the layered strip diagonally across the card and cut off where the ends over lapped.

Just to the give the greeting labels a bit of a different look, I fussy cut along the top of the white card stock, and then followed the same cut on the green and black card stock.

The little camera was mounted with foam tape.
